Djonnie Rahmat: Harley is My Second Religion

The figure Djonnie Rahmat is synonymous with Harley Davidson brand. Despite his modest built, he has become commander of PT Mabua Harley Davidson---the main distributor of the big motorcycle that is an epitome of masculinity, after acquiring more than 10 years of experience in the business.

For Djonnie, Harley is his second religion since young. Therefore it was a no brainer for him when he accepted the challenge to take on the position to be the commander of PT Mabua Harley Davidson in 2002, despite turbulent financial difficulties that the company was facing. It is a part of Mugi Rekso Abadi Group, led by Soetikno Soedarjo at the time.
Driven by his “treat your co-workers and employees as family” leadership style and a deep passion for the Harley brand, Djonnie made it his mission to develop and grow the brand whole-heartedly in Indonesia, and succeeded in making it as one of the major contributors to the MRA group.
